Or is it...?
I'm sorry that I was so hard on Calvin (and lawyers). Although it is true that Calvin was a lawyer, it is not true that every lawyer has to read scripture like a lawyer (unless you happen to be a Scottish lawyer). Maybe it was watching "Harvey Birdman" that put all this lawyer bungo in my head. Who knows? Anyway, I am sorry about what I said because, truth be told, I totally misrepresented Calvin. Anyone who has read his Institutes knows that Calvin has a profound appreciation for the mystery, the glory, and the majesty of God. In fact, some of his sections are really quite moving. Now if only it wasn't for that double predestination stuff...
Todays thought:
Is it "The Purpose Driven Church"? Or is it "The Purpose of a Driven Church"?
Which one is more correctly theologick than the other?
