Anne Rice...
...of Interview with a Vampire fame (author of), has recently become a Christian. Not only is this awesome from the eternal soul-ish perspective, but now I can read her vampire novels guilt free! I have always been a big fan of her writing (I'm a sucker for a good vampire story - read Stoker's Dracula when I was 9), and now I can read them for "research". That is, I'll be looking to see how she wrestles with God, like Jacob, in her novels; I'm spying out those autobiographical moments so I can use them as sermon illustrations... or something.
