Yes, I must confess that the muppets are a little weird. Not sure what that's all about.
Here's an insider tip for yous (the Aussie version of y'all - sp?): Beth is a close friend of Ben Harper's, and he is known for making unannounced guest appearances at her shows.
Don't think it can happen? Well, I am an eyewitness baby!
It all went down at the '96 Byron Bay Blues and Folk Festival (called "Under a Blue Moon"). Beth was doing a folk set, of course, and Ben turned up (he wasn't billed to perform at the Festival) and jammed with her. Tom Waits, who was performing at the Festival, also joined them onstage and they went on to produce the most incredible musical experience I think I've ever had. It was most excellent!
